Hosting
Websites and web apps, built by hand, from free to bespoke.
by Axel -> aesv.io
I build websites and web applications, each one made for you. The tools are good enough now that one person can build what used to take a team.
Four kinds of site
Starter site: free, for select people
For people with something to share. It goes on a free host in your name, like GitHub Pages, Cloudflare Pages or Netlify, so my only cost is building and designing. Who I do it for is my call, and it is subjective. I leave a small maker's mark on it. Cool sites for cool people
Small static site: $500
A site for your business or your work. Hosting is $10 to $15 a month, billed annually, with up to four small edits a year.
Site with a portal, CMS and database: from $2,500
You edit your own pages, people sign in, and your data lives in a database. It runs on my own server. Quoted, from $2,500, then $50 to $100 a month.
Bespoke web application: from $5,000
Complex architecture and features, built for one job. Quoted, from $5,000.
How it works
- Tell me what you need below.
- I answer with a price and a one-page contract.
- I build it.
Start
Every paid site
- Your domain, registered in your name. I keep the DNS.
- Email on Google Workspace, owned by you, paid to Google directly. Setting it up is part of the build.
- Nightly backups.
- If this ever ends, you walk away whole with a zip of your site.
- No formal SLA. Best effort.
